What is a memo sample?
A memo is a cutting of the actual fabric or a wallpaper sample sent to you for approval before you commit to a full yardage order. Memo samples are $10 each and ship within 2 business days.
What is CFA (Cutting for Approval)?
Because dye lots vary between production runs, we cut a swatch from the actual roll or bolt reserved for your order and send it for your sign-off before cutting your full yardage. This protects you from color variation on large orders.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
It varies by fabric or wallpaper — mills often set a minimum cut length. Any minimum is shown on the product page and enforced at checkout.
Shipping & Care
What's the lead time?
Standard lead time is 6–8 weeks from CFA approval, as fabrics and wallpapers ship direct from our mill partners worldwide. See our Shipping & Lead Times page for a full breakdown by order type.
How do I clean or care for my fabric or wallpaper?
Every fabric listing includes a cleaning code (W, S, WS, or X). See our Fabric & Wallpaper Care page for what each code means and general care tips.
Can I return cut yardage?
Cut yardage and made-to-order wallpaper are not returnable, which is exactly what the CFA sign-off is designed to prevent surprises on. Memo samples help you confirm color and hand before you commit.
